Govindaraj Anumanthan has received his PhD in Biochemistry from University of Madras in 2001. Currently, he is working as Research Assistant Professor in Department of Urologic Surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Centre. He is authored over ten peer reviewed papers and a review article. He is a member of Society of Basic Urologic Research (SBUR) and several organisations. Our current research focus on tissue fibrosis, extra cellular matrix remodelling in disease and development.
Tissue remodelling, fibrosis of the bladder tissue, stress and strain mechanics, TGFß and stem cell biology in the urogenital tract, specifically in relation to disease conditions of the bladder.
