Guangbo Hao

Guangbo Hao earned the Bachelor Degree of Engineering, Master Degree of Engineering, and Doctor Degree of Engineering all from Northeastern University (NEU), China, in July 2004, March 2007, and July 2008, respectively. In September 2011, he was awarded the Degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mechanical Engineering after a three-year fully funded studying in Heriot-Watt University (HWU), UK. He then directly joined Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, University College Cork (UCC), Ireland, as a permanent full-time Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering in November 2011. Dr. Hao is a member of ASME from 2009, and is the recipient of the 3rd Prize for the Young Engineers Research Paper Award 2012 (Ireland) presented by IMechE and Engineers Ireland.
