Guillermo Fernandez-Anaya received the Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico in 1995. He is a full Professor in the University Iberoamericana in Mexico. He is member of the Editorial Board of several scientific journals, and served as Guest Editor in the Journal of the Franklin Institute. He has published more than 160 journal and conference papers, 6 chapters in books, and he has books in press. He has reviewed articles for more than 20 different scientific journals and several international congresses. He has participated in several conference organizing committees. His research interests include mathematical control theory, robust control, preservation theory in systems, synchronization in nonlinear systems, applications to econophysics and other fields. He is a member of the New York Academy of Sciences, and other scientific societies.
