Dr. Gwen Olivier is a Professor, television production and radio/television scriptwriting courses. Generalist in broadcasting communication theory and theater. She holds a doctor of philosophy (Ph.D.) degree from Louisiana State University, and master of arts (M.A.) and bachelor of arts (B.A.) degrees from the University of New Orleans. She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA. She has taught at the University of New Orleans; Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge; Delgado Community College, New Orleans; the University of Western Kentucky, Bowling Green; Xavier University, New Orleans; and the University of Central Oklahoma, Edmond. Dr. Olivier is currently in her twenty-third year as a professor in the Department of Mass Communication at UCO.
