Dr. Hagen Andruszkow attended the Hannover Medical School and graduated presenting a doctoral thesis of an international comparison of acute surgical trauma care in multiple traumatized patients. He started his career with a two-year research fellowship on long-term outcome after multiple trauma and experimental trauma research at the Trauma Department of the Hannover Medical School, Germany. Since then, his research ambitions have been presented in numerous publications and congress presentations. Continuing clinical residency he is currently registrar on the Intensive Care Unit focusing clinical as well as research challenges of acute intensive trauma care in multiple traumatized patients. His current research ambitions emphasize on long-term outcome after multiple trauma, intensive care treatment of severely injured patients and surgical challenges of geriatric fractures. Dr. Hagen Andruszkow is member of the German Trauma Society.
