Biography

Hai Xiao, PhD., is a lecturer in College of Hydraulic and Environmental Engineering of China Three Gorges University. Dr. Hai Xiao has published more than twenty academic papers as the first author or corresponding author, ten of which were indexed by SCI and EI in Soil & Tillage Research, European Journal of Soil Science, Hydrological Processes, Catena, Scientific Reports, Sustainability, Eurasian Soil Science, Transactions of the Chinese Society of Agricultural Engineering, Acta Pedologica Sinica, Journal of Soil and Water Conservation, Science of Soil and Water Conservation, Chinese Journal of Soil Science, Research of Soil and Water Conservation, Journal of the Chinese Rare Earth Society and other academic journals. He won the first prize of the director's scholarship of the State Key Laboratory of Soil Erosion and Dryland Farming on the Loess Plateau in 2017, the second prize of science and technology award of the ninth China Society of Soil and Water Conservation in 2018, the first prize of Hydropower Science and Technology Award and second prize of Hubei Province Science and Technology Achievement Promotion Award in 2019.

Research Interest

Dr. Hai Xiao research expertise is in the area of soil erosion, the related environmental problem and its ecological control.
