Dr. Khouzam was born and raised in Egypt. Graduated from the College De La Sainte Famille, Jesuit School in Cairo, Egypt in 1968.Obtained his medical degree M.B.B.Ch, from the University of Cairo ,Faculty of Medicine in Cairo, Egypt in 1977. Has a Master degree in Public Health MPH and a Fellowship in Cross-Cultural psychiatry from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana in 1981. Certified by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates E.C.F.M.G. in 1983.Completed Psychiatry Residency Training at the University of Oklahoma, College of Medicine in Oklahoma City in 1987.Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in General Adult Psychiatry in 1991.Certified in the subspecialty of Geriatric Psychiatry in 1992,and recertified in 2001.Fellow of the American Psychiatry Association F.A.P.A., in 1998.
He is currently the Medical Director of Employee Behavioral Health, Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon, New Hampshire and Professor of Psychiatry. Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth, Hanover ,New Hampshire.
