Dr. Harikishore Kumar Reddy completed his PhD in bio-removal of metal ions from water. He holds a PG Diploma in Chemical Analysis and Quality Management from University of Hyderabad. Currently, he is working as a Research Associate in Department of Environment and Health at Kwandong University, South Korea. Dr. Reddy’s has published several research papers in the reputed international peer-reviewed journal in the areas of environmental chemistry and inorganic chemistry. Dr. Reddy’s research focuses on the remediation of metal pollutants from water and waste water. Also his research interests in preparation of biomaterials their characterization and their interaction with metal ions. He is serving as a reviewer of few reputed journals and editorial board member of four journals. His current research interest and goals are to develop and characterize bio based materials and chelating resins from natural resources for removal and extraction of heavy metal ions from water.
Preparation, characterization of novel materials (polymer, bio and nano) and their applications. Synthesis, spectral characterization of novel O,N and S donor ligands and their application for metal complexes. Development of chemically modified bio-materials for sequestration of metal ions from aqueous solutions.
