Emmanuel Haven obtained his BA and MA in Economics from McGill university (Canada). He obtained his PHD in Finance from Concordia University (Canada). He worked at the University of Essex until 2007 and then joined the University of Leicester where he is now professor. His research interest concentrate mainly on alternative characterizations (mainly with the use of physics) of financial concepts such as arbitrage etc.
