Biography

Dr. Huangyuan LI received his Master Degree with a major in Epidemiology and Health Statistics in 2000 from Fujian Medical University China and earned his PhD degree with a major in Occupational and Environmental Health specialization in Environmental Toxicology in 2006 in Tongji Medical College Huazhong University of Science and Technology China. He has been conducting research in the field of Biochemical Molecular Toxicology, Neurotoxicology and Reproductive Toxicology since 1997. He has published 35 research articles in prestigious journals including Chemical Research in Toxicology Toxicology Letters Archives of Toxicology Journal of Applied Toxicology. He has published about 20 meeting abstracts. He is chief editor of Introduction to Public Health and was author of 6 book chapters. He is a member of the committee of neurotoxicology in Chinese society of toxicology.

Research Interest

Biochemical & Molecular Toxicology: Studied on the effects of environmental pollutants on Nrf2/ARE signaling pathway. Neurotoxicology: Studies on the mechanisms of neurotoxicity by pesticide and manganese. Epigenetic toxicology: especially in effects of neurotoxicant on microRNA.
