Biography

Hui Tang has received PhD in Biostatistics from University of California, Berkeley. Currently she is working as an Assistant Professor at Mayo Clinic Medical School, Mayo Clinic, Minnesota.

Research Interest

Statistical methods on preprocessing, Data mining of high dimensional genomic data, and the integration with linkage and GWAS studies to discover and validate novel disease-causing loci, Prognostic biomarkers, and therapeutic targets. Specifically, these methods are: Regression and model selection, Bootstrapping, Randomized and adaptive designs in clinical trials, Weighted gene coexpression network analysis, Causal inference using structural equation model, and Survival analysis.
