Dr. Igor L Medintz received his PhD in Molecular Cellular and Developmental Biology from the City University of New York in 1998. Currently he is working as a Research Biologist at the US Naval Research Laboratory in Washington DC. He is serving on the editorial board of several journals including Bioconjugate Chemistry and Therapeutic Delivery. He has authored more than 100 research papers which have been cited more than 5000 times. He was honored as one of the 2007 top Navy Scientists of the year.
