Dr. Jason D. Hinman obtained my M.D. and Ph.D. in Molecular Medicine at Boston University School of Medicine in 2007. There he focused on age-related changes in myelin and axons using a primate model of primary brain aging. He completed his adult neurology residency training and fellowship training in vascular neurology at the University of California Los Angeles. Dr. Jason D. Hinman grew up in Cleveland, Ohio. He obtained Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Psychology at Case Western Reserve University in 1999. There his interests in molecular neuroscience were seeded and he moved to Boston to pursue graduate studies. His research interests now focus on cerebral microvascular disease of the brain, axoglial interactions after stroke and neurodegeneration.
