Jeng-Da Chai
Associate Professor, Department of Physics
National Taiwan University, Taiwan
Dr. Jeng-Da Chai received his Ph.D. degree in Chemical Physics from the University of Maryland, College Park (December 2005), and performed his postdoctoral research at the University of California, Berkeley (January 2006 ~ June 2009). Since August 2009, he has joined the faculty of the Department of Physics at National Taiwan University. His group has focused on the development of new quantum-mechanical methods suitable for the study of nanoscale systems, and their applications to materials for new energy. Dr. Chai, who is one of the active developers of Q-Chem (a well-known quantum chemistry software).
