Jennie Walker is graduated from the University of Nottingham in 1998 and started her career within MSKN at Nottingham University Hospitals. Since then she has gained a Bachelors and Masters degree from the University of Manchester. From 2003 -2006 she took on a dual role working as a staff nurse on the spinal trauma and disorders Unit and as a health lecturer practitioner for the School of Nursing, University of Nottingham in which she delivered spinal modules for postgraduate diploma and degree students. From 2006 Jennie took up the role of Clinical Educator within MSKN at Nottingham University Hospitals and currently divides her time between teaching medical undergraduates and working with staff within MSKN to improve education and working within the clinical areas. In 2010 Jennie commenced her PhD studies at the University of Nottingham and has been awarded an Allied Health Professional Fellowship grant from Arthritis Research UK.
Walker\'s research interests are on Trauma, Orthopaedics, Patient information, Spines, Microbiology, Implant infection.
