Biography

Dr Jianhua He is currently a Lecturer at the College of Engineering, Swansea University, UK. He received his BSc and MSc degrees from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), China, and a PhD degree from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, in 1995, 1998 and 2002, respectively. He joined HUST in 2001 as an Associate Professor. He was with University of Bristol from 2004 to 2006 and with University of Essex in 2007. His main research interests include medium access control, networking and congestion control protocols for wireless networks, multimedia networks and quality of services provisioning. He has authored or co-authored over 100 technical papers in major international journals and conferences. He has served as an Editor for several international journals, including Wileys Wireless Communications and Mobile Computing, International Journal of Communication Systems, and KSII Transactions on Internet and Information Systems. He has organized and served as TPC member for many international conferences.

Research Interest

His main research interests include medium access control, networking and congestion control protocols for Wireless Networks, Multimedia Networks and quality of services provisioning.
