Jinfu Wang, cell biologist, graduated from Zhejiang Agricultural University in 1991. He worked for Zhejiang Academy of Medical Research from 1991 to 1997 and for College of Life Sciences, Zhejiang University from 1997 to present. Since 2004, he became the deputy director in Institute of Cell Biology and Genetics, Zhejiang University. He worked as a visiting scholar in the Center of Medical Health, University of Colorado, USA in 2002, and as a visiting scientist in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, University of Southern Denmark in 2004. He is the Editor-in-Chief for the journal advances in bioscience and biotechnology, the member of Editor Board for the journal world journal of stem cells, and the chief expert for journal of clinical rehabilitative tissue research. In recent year, he focused on the differentiation of stem cells (especially mesenchymal stem cells), the transplantation of stem cells and the tissue engineering based on stem cells.
