Biography

Prof. Jose L. Salmeron is a Professor of Information Systems at the Pablo de Olavide University, Seville. He holds degrees and masters in Business Administration, and Computer Science. He holds two six-year research award by Science and Technology Ministry of Spain. He leads research projects at national and international levels. Prof. Salmeron has co-authored eight books and has served as a Visiting Researcher at Texas Tech University, and several Spanish universities. His papers have been published in IEEE Transactions on Fuzzy Systems, Information Sciences, IEEE Transactions of Software Engineering, Communications of the ACM, Journal of Systems and Software, Computer Standards & Interfaces, Expert Systems with Applications, Information & Management, Technovation, Industrial Management and Data Systems, European Journal of Operational Research, International Journal for Infonomics, Futures, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, Scientometrics, and so on. At present, he is doing research in the area of Soft Computing, Fuzzy Cognitive Maps, and Autonomous Systems reasoning.
