Biography

José Segovia is Professor in the Department of Physiology, Biophysics and Neuroscience at the Centro de Investigación y de Estudios Avanzados Cinvestav in Mexico City. He received his PhD from Georgetown University, Washington, D.C. and was a postdoctoral investigator at the University of California, Los Angeles. He has published 57 reviewed papers, is author of 7 book chapters, and has 16 years of teaching experience. He has served as reviewer of peerreviewed journals in the areas of Neuroscience, Gene Therapy, Pharmacology and Cancer.

Research Interest

Experimental gene therapy approaches for the treatment of gliomas, and neurodegenerative disorders.
