Dr. Ribas is an assistant professor in the field of Pharmacology at the University of Lleida (Catalonia). After obtaining an european Ph.D in Pharmacology, shewent on to complete her postdoctoral training at theJohns Hopkins School of Medicine (USA) where she focused on the implication of microRNAs in prostate cancer. She is currently leading her own research team at the University of Lleida (Spain).
Dr. Ribas research interest includes new chemotherapeutic approaches using drugs, non-coding RNAs, aptamers or nanoparticles.
