Biography

Dr. Judith A. Smith is an Associate Professor in the Department of Gynecologic Oncology & Reproductive Medicine in the Division of Surgery at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston (UTMDACC), Texas and Adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston Medical School. Dr. Smith received a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Union University Albany College of Pharmacy. She completed residency in Pharmacy Practice and Oncology Pharmacy Practice at the National Institutes of Health followed by a fellowship in Clinical Pharmacology at UTMDACC. She has been Board Certified in Oncology Pharmacy. Her research focus is on drug development for gynecologic cancers and conditions with a specific focus on integration of nutritional supplements and herbs with traditional chemotherapy.
