Jun Zhang, PhD, is an Associate Professor of school of Mechanical Engineering at Xi’an Jiaotong University, China. He holds a B.S. degree in 2000 and an M.S. degree in 2003 from Mechanical Engineering, Nanchang University, China, and a Ph.D. degree in 2009 from Mechanical Engineering, Xi’an Jiaotong University, China. He was a joint Ph.D. student at the University of Florida 2008-2009. In 2009, he joined Xi’an Jiaotong University, School of Mechanical Engineering as a faculty member. He has published and presented more than 20 papers in national and international journals. He received an outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Award of Xi’an Jiaotong University in 2011.
His research interests include hydrodynamic, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), drip irrigation, structural design of emitters.
