Dr. Jungkyu Kim has received his PhD in Biomedical Engineering, University of Utah in 2009. Currently, He is working as postdoc researcher in University of California, Berkeley. He has been working in the area of biomechanics, tissue engineering, microfluidics fabrication technique, microfluidic sample preparation , Lab-on-a-chip development for personalized medicine and Nano-biosensor for bacteria detection. Between 2003-2005, he received the KOSEF Korea Science and Engineering Foundation fellowship. He is serving as an reviewer of several journals like Microfluidics Nanofluidics, Sensors and Actuators A/B, ACS Applied Materials and Interfaces and Journal of Engineering in Medicine.
