Dr. Jyant Kumar is working as a Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. Prof. Kumar works in the area of limit analysis, finite elements and optimization. He has guided several Doctoral and Master students in the area of Geotechnical Engineering, Soil Dynamics and Earthquake Engineering. Prof. Kumar is in the Editorial Panel of several International Journals primarily in the area of Geomechanics, Civil Engineering, Remote sensing and Optimization. Prof. Kumar has already published more than hundred papers in different International Journals. He has quite a few sponsored funding projects to his credit.
