Biography

K. Prasad, M.Sc., PGDCA, PhD is Associate Professor and Head, Centre of Applied Physics, Central University of Jharkhand, Ranchi, India. He received his M.Sc. (in 1988) andPh.D. (in 1993) from T.M. Bhagalpur University, Bhagalpur. He served Sant Longo wal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Sangrur, India as a lecturer (Physics) from Jan. 1994to March 1997) and T.M. Bhagalpur University in Bhagalpur (March 1997 – June 2011). Dr. Prasad is currently a member of many national and international scientific societies.  He has authored over 100 scientific publications, a book and two book chapters on Nanotechnology. He has presented papers at major conferences and delivered invited talks. Dr.Prasad is in the Editorial Board of Colloids & Surfaces B: Biointerfacesand Clinical Reviews and Opinions and an active referee of various international journals.

Research Interest

His current research interests include ferroelectric/piezoelectric ceramics, ceramic-polymer composites and synthesis of nanoparticles using soft chemical and biosynthetic routes.
