Kaname Ohyama

Kaname Ohyama is the assistant Professor in Department of Environmental and Pharmaceutical Sciences Nagasaki University Japan. He earned his PhD at Nagasaki University. He has published 30 reviewed papers and he was author of 3 book chapters. He served as a reviewer of peerreviewed journals in the area of analytical chemistry pharmaceutical analysis and proteomics.
Dr. Ohyama’s research interests lie in the area of toxicoproteomics, mainly focuses on protein changes in cells or tissues with exposure to toxicants, and separation science. Specifically, his group utilizes the novel proteomic approach, which is easily reproducible and highly sensitive, to study the mechanism of side-effects of pharmaceuticals including anticancer drugs.
