Dr. Khalid M. Khan is Professor of Anatomy at Kuwait University Faculty of Medicine since 2006. Prior to that he was at Aga Khan University Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan from 1984 to 2006. He completed his studies for the MS from Columbia University in 1976 and PhD degree at New York University in 1980. He has earned Excellence in Teaching awards and has acted as mentor for medical students for three decades. His research interests are vertebrate auditory system, neurotoxicity and its effects on cognition and learning. He has over 50 publications in peer-reviewed journals. He is a member of American Association of Anatomists, Association for Research in Otolaryngology and Society for Neuroscience.
