Dr. Kiran Kumar did his postdoctoral research work at both the Brookhaven National Laboratory, New York, USA and Pennsylvania State University, PA, USA. He has an immense research experience in molecular, structural, and functional studies of microbial proteins and their potential industrial applications. His major research areas are enzyme biocatalysis and bioprocessing for advanced renewable energy and biofuel production, use of novel green solvents for a wide range of applications. Dr. Kiran Kumar is a Protein Biochemist and Enzymologist working as a Senior Scientist in the Bioconversion Technology Division with Sardar Patel Renewable Energy Research Institute (SPRERI), Gujarat, India. He received his PhD degree in Biotechnology from the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IITG), India. Dr. Kumar has published many peer-reviewed papers in reputed journals and international conferences. Besides, He is an Editor of Biocatalysis and Agricultural Biotechnology Journal and a reviewer of large number of Journals.
