Kirill Mackenzie is a reader in pure mathematics at the University of Sheffield. He is the author of two standard monographs on Lie groupoids and Lie algebroids and is the creator of the theory of multiple Lie structures. He serves as an editor also on the boards of the Journal of Geometric Mechanics, and SIGMA (Symmetry, Integrability and Geometry: Methods and Applications).
