Kyriaki Tsilika
Dept of Economics
University of Thessaly, Volos, Greece
Dr. Tsilika holds a PhD degree in Applied Mathematics from the Faculty of Engineering of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. During her postgraduate studies, she has used and developed tools and methods of Nonsmooth Analysis (convex and nonconvex) and Nonconvex Nonsmooth Optimization. Her dissertation was based on the theory of Hemivariational Inequalities and the theory of Eigenvalue Problems. She also possesses a degree in Mathematics (four year of undergraduate studies) from the Department of Mathematics of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki GREECE.
Her current research interests are focused on Computational Economics. Dr. Tsilika`s research findings have appeared in several national and international peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings such as Computational Economics (Springer), International Journal of Social Economics (Emerald), Journal of Computational Optimization in Economics and Finance (Nova Publications), Journal of Global Optimization (Springer), Numerical Functional Analysis and Optimization (Taylor & Francis), Applied Mathematics and Computation (Elsevier), International Journal of Information Science and Computer Mathematics, American Journal of Applied Sciences (Science Publications), AIP Conference Proceedings, etc. Several of her papers have been archived in the Wolfram Library Archive.
Dr. Kyriaki Tsilika is currently working as an adjunct Lecturer in the Department of Economics, University of Thessaly, Volos, Greece.
