Dr. L.J.R. Foster has a track record in the production,characterisation and potential applications of novel biopolymers as biomaterials for applications in environmental and medical fields. His multidisciplinary research is founded on experience in both academia and industry.Achievements to date have been recognised with a number of prestigious fellowships and invitations to speak at international conferences. He has over 75 peer reviewed publications including 2 books and 3 book chapters as well as 2 international patents. He serve as a national and international grant reviewer for Australia and a number of European and Asian national granting bodies.
