Li is a professor of Resources and Environmental Research Academy of the North China Electric Power University. He received his Ph.D. in Engineering from the University of Regina, Canada in 2008. He has completed his M.Sc and B.Sc in Environmental Engineering from Hunan University, China in 1998 and 2002, respectively. He is serving as an Associate Editor and Editorial Board Member of 4 reputed journals and reviewer of over 40 journals. He is now registered P.Eng. of Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) of Canada, and members of American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), National Ground Water Association (NGWA), and American Chemistry Society (ACS). He has published over 50 SCI-indexed journal papers in the field of groundwater management, water quality management, environmental systems modeling, etc.
