Currently Dr. Li Qin is a research faculty at Yale University. Dr. Li Qin obtained her PhD in Biostatistics from University of Pittsburgh in 2006. Before that, she received her BS in Biology from University of Science and Technology of China, and MS in Statistics from North Dakota State University. She has been served in peer-review committee for Yale Journal of Biology and Medicine, and as a peer reviewer for Psychology Research and Behavior Management, Clinical Epidemiology, Open Access Medical Statistics, and International Journal of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease. She is a member of American Statistical Association. Her research and publications are in the areas of missing data, latent variable model, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, sleep apnea, pediatric thrombosis, obesity, and HIV.
Primary research interests include analysis of longitudinal data, design, implementation and analysis of clinical trials, and analysis of survival data. The fields of application include HIV, sleep apnea, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, obesity, and pediatrics.
