Biography

Dr.Lidan You is an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto.She is the founding director of Cellular Biomechanics Group at the University of Toronto. Dr. You s major expertise is in the area of cellular biomechanics bone cell mechanics bone cell mechanobiolgy, bone adaptation, and bone biology. She has published over 70 peerreviewed journal papers and conference abstracts in leading journals across multiple disciplines to date in the field. Dr. You is a Professional Engineer in Canada. She is the recipient of numerous honours and awards such as the Early Researcher Award of Ontario, Young Investigator Award of International Bone Fluid Flow Workshop, and the Leaders of Innovation Fund award from Canada Foundation of Innovation. Dr. You got her Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering from the City University of New York in 2002.
