Li-Qun Gu received PhD in Biological Photonics Physics Dept from Nankai University. Currently he is working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Biological Engineering at the Dalton Cardiovascular Research Center.
Tracking cellular components, probing biochemical reaction, investigating bio-transportation, protein-ligand recognition, special properties of designed biopolymers, detecting pharmaceuticals and pathogen traces. The Nanopore-based single molecule detection could also play important role in proteomics and genomics.
