Lukasz Szarpak is an research assistant at the Department of Emergency Medicine, Medical University of Warsaw teaching the Emergency Medicine. He work also in Department of Cardiosurgery and Transplantology, Cardinal Wyszynski National Institute of Cardiology in Warsaw. He holds a PhD in Rescue Medicine (Medical University of Warsaw) and Master Degree in Emergency Medicine (Medical University of Lodz). He also holds postgraduate studies in National Security, Organization and management in health care, crisis management. He is the author of numerous book chapters and authored more than 300 scientific articles. Dr Szarpak is involved in several international research projects concerning the quality of cardiopulmonary resuscitation and efficacy of intubation, and is a Reviewer and Editorial Board Member in many journals.
Dr Szarpak research interests are Emergency Medicine, Anesthesiology, Critical Care, Trauma Care, Transplantation and Meta-analysis.
