Dr. Luo Quan-yong is working at Nuclear Medicine Department of Shanghai Sixth People’s Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and is an Associate Professor of Nuclear Medicine at Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. He specializes in clinical nuclear medicine, iodine-131 treatment for differentiated thyroid cancer. He has received his MD from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Currently, he is working as vice director at the Nuclear Medicine Dept. of Shanghai Sixth People’s Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Dr. Luo has successfully completed his administrative responsibilities as team leader of iodine-131 treatment for differentiated thyroid cancer in his hospital. He has published over 40 research articles as corresponding author and serves as a reviewer for 7 peer-reviewed international journals. He is a member of the Younger Committee of Chinese Society of Nuclear Medicine. For his contributions and services, Dr. Luo has received several honors and awards, including Shanghai Innovative Youth Award of Science and Technology, and the 12th Silver Snake Nomination Prize of Shanghai.
