Biography

Mahsa Khayat-Khoei received her Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in 2012 from Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences in Tehran, Iran. She is currently pursuing her masters and is soon to receive her MBA degree. She also functions as a researcher and a clinical trainee at CHI St. Luke's Health–Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center as well as University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, Texas. Her main research interest is in pluripotent Embryonic Stem Cells and her work has been mainly focused on the Amniotic derived Stem Cells and their application in controlling cancer as well as cardiovascular diseases. She has several publications and a patent in her field; and has presented her research in several national and international conferences.

Research Interest

She has interest in stem cell therapy.
