Dr. Manar M. Ismail is a graduated of the Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University (MBBCH. Excellent with honor), 1992. She has completed her internship in Kasr Al-Aini hospital and continued her residency training at the National Cancer Institute. She had M. Sc in Clinical and Chemical Pathology, Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University and MD in Clinical Pathology and Oncologic Laboratory Medicine, National Cancer Institute, Cairo University, 2002. She has been working in the clinical field being a member of the flowcytometry unite at NCI, and pan Arab flowcytometry working group and in the academic field teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students, supervising research graduation projects .She published 18 research articles in different international journals and she was the principal investigator of the study " Evaluation of prothrombin induced by vitamin K absence, macrophage migration inhibitory factor and Golgi protein-73 for hepatocellular carcinoma diagnosis and surveillance" awarded from the Institute of Scientific Research at Umm Al-Qura University, KSA.
