Dr. Manuel De la Sen obtained his PhD in Physical Sciences (Automation & Signal processing) from the University of Grenoble, France, in 1979. He has research experience as Professor of Systems Eng. and Automatic Control and Director of the Institute of Research and Development of Processes. He is currently having Scientific Editorial Memberships for different international journals. He is currently a Professor of Systems Engineering and Automatic Control at the University of Basque Country.
Discrete and sampled-data control systems, nonperiodic and adaptive sampling, adaptive control, fixed point theory, positive systems, stability, models for ecology, epidemic models, time-delay systems, artificial intelligence and heuristic tools for dynamic systems, and ordinary differential equations.
