Dr. Marco Ciotti, was granted the title of Associated Porfessor in Microbiology and Clinical Microbiology in 2014. He is also working as Virologist in the Laboratory of Molecular Virology at Polyclinic Tor Vergata Foundation, Rome, Italy. He received his Microbiology and Virology Degree in 2001 at the same university. He is a member of several professional associations and societies. He is a referee and Editorial Board member for scientific journals. He achieved Award of Bruno Maria Zaini Foundation for "Critical contribution to the understanting of the molecular basis of Crigler-Najjar disease and bilirubin metabolism", 1997 and Young Researcher award in the year 2000.
