Margaret-Ann Carno, PhD, assistant professor of clinical nursing and pediatrics for the School of Nursing, was one of 142 nurse leaders inducted as a fellow of the American Academy of Nursing (AAN) during the academy’s 38th annual meeting and conference on October 15, 2011, in Washington, D.C. This year’s inductees hail from across the United States, Canada, England, South Korea, and Taiwan. Carno, who was appointed to the School of Nursing faculty in 2005, earned her PhD from the University of Pittsburgh and completed her post-master’s certification at Rochester. She specializes in sleep concerns in children and adolescents.
