I graduated from Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna in Medicine where I also obtained a PhD in surgical sciences. My clinical and research activity develops in the hepatic field with particular interest to cirrhotic patients and portal hypertension. I worked in field transplant and the last two years I have been interested of new antiviral therapies for HCV infection in transplant patients and cirrhotic. I work in addition to the Unit of Biostatistics in the department of medical and surgical sciences at the University of Bologna where I now a Post-doctoral Research Fellow with producing multidisciplinary scientific publications. I love to travel and I touched 3 of 5 continents, I really like painting and music and I think the quality of scientific research can improve the world. Therefore I accept with great pleasure to be part of the Editorial Board of this journal and thank you for choosing me.
