NutriGuard Research, USA
Mark McCarty has devoted his career to applied nutrition, and has also functioned as a biomedical theoretician, publishing over 230 speculative essays cited on MedLine, primarily in the journal Medical Hypotheses. He is co-founder and Science Director of the nutraceutical company NutriGuard Research, was Research Director for Nutrition 21 during their development of supplemental selenium and chromium, has served as a consultant for several integrative cancer clinics as well as the Whitaker Wellness Institute, and is an editorial board member of Journal of Medicinal Food. Cancer prevention is also a key interest. McCarty resides in San Diego.
