Biography

Doctor of Science from the Federal University of São Paulo graduated in Medical Technology (Biomedicine) - Universidad de Antofagasta (1999). It has experience in Parasitology, with emphasis in Cellular Biology and Immunobiology of parasites, acting on the following topics: Leishmania spp and Trypanosoma cruzi, oral infection, surface molecules of parasites and pathogen-host cell interaction. He is currently interested in studying the cellular mechanisms used by the pathogen to survive in the host cell.
