A/Prof Melvin Khee-Shing Leow is a board certified licensed senior consultant endocrinologist affiliated with the Department of Endocrinology of Tan Tock Seng Hospital. He is a clinician-scientist, clinical associate professor at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and adjunct associate professor at Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School. He graduated from National University of Singapore and received postgraduate training in internal medicine. He underwent a clinical-cum-research fellowship in endocrinology in Harvard Medical School and earned his PhD in medical research from the American International University. He is a fellow of the Academy of Medicine (Singapore), American College of Endocrinology, American College of Physicians and Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh.
His research interest is in translational and clinical research in metabolic disorders, neuroendocrinology, epigenetic programming and biological feedback loops. His clinical interests include endocrine manifestations of systemic disorders, thyroidology, endocrinologic oncology, paraneoplastic endocrinopathies and mathematical modeling of endocrine physiology.
