Dr. Mercedes Rincon is a Professor in Department of Medicine in University of Vermont. She did her Ph. D in Immunology. The topic of her Ph. D. thesis is "Study of the role of cAMP in human T cell activation". Her current research interests are to study the role of IL-6 in the immune response and diseases, role of p38 MAPK in thymocyte development and T cell activation/death, along with the study related to the Mechanism of chemoresistance in breast cancer. Dr. Mercedes Rincon has also been granted with many grants for her research work.
