Sr. Research Scientist, Faculty, Department of Behavior Analysis
University of North Texas, Texas, USA
Dr. Michael W. Schlund is currently the Senior Research Scientist in the Department of Behaviour Analysis, Universiy of North Texas. Previously, he held the position of Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at Johns Hopkins University and adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Pittsburgh. This work has advanced our understanding of avoidance-based coping in psychopathology. Dr. Schlund has published over 25 peer-reviewed papers and regularly serves as an ad-hoc reviewer for NIH and a variety of high-impact behavioral, cognitive neuroscience and neurophysiological journals. He is a long time member of the Association for Behavior Analysis and the Society for Neuroscience.
