Dr. Michalis Xenos is currently a tenured track Assistant Professor at the Department of Mathematics, University of Ioannina, Greece. He received his Bachelor, M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the Department of Mathematics, University of Patras, Greece. He worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Laboratory for Product and Process Design, Departments of Chemical Engineering and Bioengineering, University of Illinois at Chicago, and the Bio uids Laboratory, Department of Biomedical Engineering, State University of New York at Stony Brook.
His general interests are in Applied Mathematics, Fluid Mechanics, Computational Fluid Dynamics, and Transport Phenomena. He is particularly interested in Aerodynamics, Magnetohydrodynamics, and Biomechanics.
