Mikki Meadows-Oliver is an Assistant Professor at the Yale University School of Nursing. She is a board certified pediatric nurse practitioner and holds a joint clinical appointment at the Pediatric Lead Poisoning Prevention Program at Yale New Haven Hospital. Meadows-Oliver earned a PhD from the University of Connecticut and joint Masters’ degrees in Nursing and Public Health from Yale University. She has been a nurse for over 18 years and has worked in inpatient, outpatient, home-based, and school-based health care settings. As a nurse practitioner for 13 years, she has devoted her work to caring for children and families in underserved populations. Dr. Meadows-Oliver has published more than 30 book chapters and articles in peer-reviewed nursing and health care journals. She has also presented at national and international conferences on topics relevant to nursing.
